Bentley’s Oldest Dealership Reopens In Mayfair, London After A Dramatic Renovation

The world’s oldest Bentley dealership (operation since 1927) now with an entirely fresh look and feel thanks to a comprehensive refurbishment. The Mayfair icon Jack Barclay Bentley located in London‘s Mayfair district is now a luxurious modern space that blends historic tradition with the latest in contemporary design. The new design draws inspiration from contemporary luxury boutiques and ateliers, but does not compromise the showroom’s historic features.

The new showroom features a stunning central bar trimmed in Bentley leather on the ground floor. There’s a new commissioning suite as well, but some elements were left just as they were. The art deco signage, wood paneling, and checkered floor in the basement were all retained intact. These elements have been harmoniously woven into the new design.

“Jack Barclay Bentley is true British institution and a real icon for both Bentley and the UK as a whole,” said dealership spokesman John Stone. “Customers come to Mayfair from around the world to savor the Jack Barclay Bentley experience, and thanks to this stunning refurbishment, we can ensure they continue to enjoy the best service available. We are very excited to open our doors once again and plan to use the space to the full by hosting some fantastic events throughout the year.”

The dealership was acquired in 2000 by the H.R. Owen group, which runs a number of high-end showrooms in the UK.
