CARTIER REOPENS HARRODS BOUTIQUE WITH NEW BESPOKE CONCEPT

Cartier the fine jeweller has redesigned its prestigious boutique in the Harrods Fine Jewellery Room, complete with an exclusive, one-of-a-kind collection. The new space offers an entirely new and bespoke concept for Harrods, as the brand worked closely with the department store and architect, Laura Gonzalez, to redesign a classic environment with a contemporary touch, and provide the perfect place for Cartier clients to shop its high jewellery offering.

The capacious 5,000sq ft boutique is now double the size of the original space, making it the largest of its kind within the Fine Jewellery Room. The concept of the new room design is reflective of the brand with smooth bronze finishes, glass furnishings and wooden accents, set in a neutral surrounding, highlighted with four bespoke and handcrafted decorative walls and a central deconstructed, geometric chandelier.

This gleaming jewellery box houses full Cartier product portfolio, in addition to a prestigious, permanent high jewellery collection of one-of-a-kind treasures in festive red, white and gold. Highlights include a pair of ritzy ruby earrings and a show-stopping platinum and diamond necklace made up of creamy pearls and yellow diamonds, which drip down the décolletage.

“We’re excited to have worked with Cartier on this large scale redevelopment and to have launched their new boutique which, we’re pleased to say, is the largest boutique within our Fine Jewellery Room,” adds chief merchant at Harrods, Helen Daivd. “The concept is entirely bespoke and exclusive to Harrods, with the addition of two VIP salons and a permanent, highly anticipated, high jewellery collection. We are very excited for our customers to discover the exclusive collection of Cartier creations for Harrods. The boutique provides the perfect environment to showcase Cartier’s exceptional product offering particularly at a time when the brand is attracting such huge demand within our Fine Jewellery Room.”
