Introducing the Hublot Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami Sapphire Rainbow, featuring the Japanese artists’ signature smiley flower, iced-out by Hublot. The watch is symbolic when it comes to the characteristics of both collaborators. It features Hublot’s exclusive technology in which the 45mm case is cut from sapphire crystal, and Murakami’s smiling flower encased within.
The twelve petals of which are festooned with 487 gemstones, covering all the colours of the rainbow: pink, yellow and orange sapphires, tsavorites, rubies and amethysts.
The three-dimensional flower is brought to life through a ball-bearing system designed by Hublot’s engineers. This causes the petals to move and keeps the timepiece running for 72 hours.
Inside the Hublot Classic Fusion, Takashi Murakami Sapphire Rainbow beats the in-house Unico MHUB1214 automatic movement, offering a beefy 72-hour power reserve at a 28,800 bph beat rate. Hublot completes the transparent look with a translucent white integrated rubber strap featuring a ridged texture for added visual texture in images. A work of art on your wrist, the watch is currently available for $106,000 USD in a limited edition of 100 pieces. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
