Ducati Unveils Superleggera V4 The World’s Most Powerful Production Bike

Introducing the Ducati Superleggera V4 the lightest, most powerful production bike ever produced by the Italian marque. Limited to 500 examples, the new Superleggera V4 comes standard with 220 hp.

The only street-legal motorcycle in the world with a carbon fibre chassis, swingarm and wheels. Biplane wings and extreme aerodynamics, made from composite material, achieving a 6.7 kg reduction in weight thanks to these components.

Beneath the carbon skin lies the Desmosedici Stradale R engine, lighter and more powerful than ever. The 998 cm3 90° V4 delivers 224 CV in road-legal configuration. That figure rises to 234 CV when fitted with the titanium Akrapovič exhaust for track use, which is included in the Racing Kit supplied with the bike. The racing nature of the engine is enhanced by the use of the dry clutch and the individual manual adjustment of the Desmodromic timing system.

Superleggera customers can also acquire an exclusive Superleggera V4 premium leather suit with integrated air-bag and a carbon fiber helmet, both emblazoned with the bike’s colors and graphics.  In addition, 30 of the lucky 500 will be awarded the “MotoGP Experience,” receiving a few hot laps on the same 270-plus hp Ducati Desmosedici GP20 MotoGP machine as ridden by factory pilots Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci.

The bike ID number (XXX/500) is displayed on the frame, fork yoke, and ignition key. Deliveries are anticipated to start by June at the rate of five bikes per day. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
