Talisker launches the Talisker Bodega Series: Talisker 40 Year Old

Swanky hotels and bars with extensive whisky collections, this one’s for you: The Talisker Bodega Series is set to launch shortly with a 40-year-old single malt. Finished in amontillado casks, this golden liquid is sourced from one of the oldest Sherry producers, Delgado Zuleta.

The new series will celebrate the distillery’s historic links – dating back to the 1900s with the bodegas of Jerez, where Talisker once sourced its casks. Just two thousand bottles will be produced. Showcased in hand-carved oak cases, they will retail at £2,750 each and will be sold at specialist outlets around the globe.

‘This Talisker 40yo is an exquisite single malt Scotch whisky, which captures the age-old relationships with Delgado Zuleta and the high-quality craftsmanship that took place throughout the creation of this rare expression,’ said Talisker global brand ambassador Donald Colville. ‘We are delighted to launch this as the first of the Talisker Bodega series and the liquid is something that we are extremely proud of.’

Talisker 40 Year Old will be available from selected luxury retailers globally from beginning this month.
