Dior and Anne-Sophie Pic unveil plans for Monsieur Dior restaurant in Japan

Dior has entered a long-term partnership with Anne-Sophie Pic, currently holding ten Michelin stars across her restaurants. Pic will kick it off by spearheading a Monsieur Dior restaurant showcasing French elegance and gourmet innovation located in Osaka, Japan, which is slated to open its doors sometime in 2025.

At the Café Dior, the chef will curate a menu featuring pastries and cakes inspired by Christian Dior’s iconic archives, embellished with the House’s signature codes, including the iconic cannage and Toile de Jouy, as well as houndstooth, leopard or compass rose motifs. Foodies can also try travel cakes and chocolate bars decorated with sketches of haute couture silhouettes.

In the meantime, travelers at Kansai International Airport near Osaka can sample a selection of the chef’s cakes and pastries inspired by the archives of founder Christian Dior.

This latest restaurant project marks a further step in Dior’s strategic expansion into different realms of French art de vivre and excellence. The new restaurant will join the Monsieur Dior restaurant under French chef Jean Imbert at the Maison’s Paris flagship store, as well as other Café Dior addresses in the United States and Asia.

Anne-Sophie Pic’s culinary empire includes restaurants in various locations around the world, such as her three-Michelin-starred Restaurant Pic in Valence, France, and the acclaimed La Dame de Pic restaurants in Paris and Megève, France, as well as in London, Singapore and Dubai.
