After revealing the “Safari” edition earlier this year, Leica is back with another new Leica Q style. Combining the German firm’s optical precision with the English company’s handmade elegance, the Leica Q Globe-Trotter Camera is an all-in-one package for well-heeled travelers.
The Leica Q weighs in at 640 g and is crafted from a solid block of aluminium, and sports a body chassis that is constructed of magnesium alloy.
Two different colors are available: navy and pink. Shipping is expected to start on August 9th. Technical features of the camera include a high-resolution 1280 x 960 electronic viewfinder, video footage at 60/30 fps, capable of recording Full HD 1080p video. The LEcia Q is fitted with a fixed Summilux 28-mm F1.7 lens that is combined with a 24-megapixel CMOS sensor, the model also supports connection via NFC or WiFi.
